About Vericlean Springs & Owner, Dee Anna Thompson
Dee Anna Thompson is truly the definition of a mover and a shaker. While she is quite humble and wouldn’t tell you that, she has grown Vericlean Springs from a one person operation into the thriving business it is today. In addition to running her business, she is raising her family, working on charitable non-profit work and is actively involved in supporting her community.
From Humble Beginnings
As a young single Mom trying to support her then 2 year old son, Dee Anna started cleaning homes for extra money. She quickly found that her clients were pleased with her work and her commitment to quality so they started referring her to their friends. With a thriving business in the Denver area, Dee Anna decided to expand into the Colorado Springs market which she now happily calls home.
A Growing Business
As Dee Anna’s business grew so did the challenges of hiring the right people. Dee Anna believes in equal opportunity and hiring the best person for the job not the lowest wage earner. She also believes that if a person has the desire to work, and their work ethic matches her own, and they are committed to doing a job that they would be proud to put their name on, then there is nothing preventing them from doing well in her company.
Paying it Forward
Throughout Dee Anna’s life she has always felt blessed to have others there when she needed a hand and so she is committed to helping those less fortunate. Her volunteer work includes organizations such as: Habitat for Humanity, The Woman’s Resource Agency, March of Dimes, American Heart Association, Cystic Fibrosis, Race for the Cure, CASA and Marian House Soup Kitchen. And it does not stop there. Dee Anna believes in positive change and so she is actively involved with Leadership Pikes Peak, Colorado Springs Rising Professionals and the Small Business Development Center.
In 2012, having a desire to help other women entrepreneurs succeed, Dee Anna started Women with Hat-itudes. This non-profit, donor advised fund, supports women owned businesses by providing them with a scholarship to directly help them stay in business and view site, become profitable and create new jobs for the community. She sees it as a win-win-win situation.
With all that Dee Anna is involved in, nothing (other than her family) is as important to her as her clients. When you meet Dee Anna you will immediately know that you are in good company.
